Everything you need to know about climbing at Onsight.

There is no age limit! Children must fit securely into a harness for top rope (usually age 5+). Kids under 5 can use the kids' bouldering wall with slide. Children under 13 must be supervised by an adult 18+. You must be 13 or older to belay.

Everyone entering the facility must sign a waiver, even if they're not climbing. Minors need a parent or legal guardian to sign. Complete it online before your visit to save time.

Comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. Avoid jeans or restrictive clothing. Closed-toe shoes are required in the facility. Climbing shoes are available to rent.

No! We offer auto-belay systems so you can climb independently. If you want to learn to belay, we offer classes, or you can take our belay test if you already know how.

Yes! You're welcome to bring your own harness, shoes, chalk, and belay device. All gear must be UIAA approved and in good condition. Ask staff to inspect if you're unsure.

The main rope climbing walls range from 38 to 52+ feet. Auto-belay walls in the beginners area are 22 feet. Bouldering walls are 15 feet. There's also a small kids' boulder at 8 feet.

Yes! Punch passes are sharable, but the original owner must be present for each use.

Yes, you can bring food and drinks. Please keep them in the designated eating areas, away from climbing surfaces and mats.
