About ICL
Onsight's Interscholastic Climbing League (ICL) is a team sport that emphasizes teamwork, personal growth, and a healthy lifestyle. Our diverse facility features 50+ foot lead walls with a variety of layouts including top rope, lead climbing, and bouldering—spanning over 12,000 square feet of climbing surface.
To register as an official team, you'll need a minimum of 3 team members. As an official ICL team, your members are eligible for discounted membership rates.

Free Intro to Climbing Class
Every student age 13 and up gets a complimentary Intro to Climbing Class to get started. Choose between:
- Tuesdays: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Sundays: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
Competition Format
How ICL Competitions Work
Teams compete in a structured format featuring two required week-long competitions:
- Competition 1: Rope climbing (lead and top rope events)
- Competition 2: Bouldering competition
- Finals: One-day championship competition in April
Each team member contributes their best performance, and scores are tallied for team rankings. It's a fantastic opportunity to test your skills against other schools!
